ServiceNow Gets Incremental $70 Million IRS Deal

28 September, 2021 4:24 am

A $70 million, five-year contract issued to ServiceNow by the IRS on Sept. 27 represents incremental revenue. The award allocates $21.5 million for the first two years of performance.

The award is the first major task order under a Treasury Department blanket purchase agreement for ServiceNow low code platform licenses that was originally issued in September 2020 with a maximum notional value of $110 million over five years. The blanket purchase agreement (BPA) established the intention to implement ServiceNow technology, but didn't allocate, or obligate, any funding at the time it was signed.

The new order is the first significant spend issued under the BPA, which previously had funded only several small projects (below $1 million).
