Parsons Wins $618 Million Army ISR Contract

22 April, 2021 2:30 pm

Parsons has been awarded a $618 million, five-year contract by the U.S. Army's Pacific Command. The contract hasn't been announced by the Pentagon or by Parsons.

The award was signed on April 20, 2021 and is called the C5ISR, Exercises, Operation and Information Services (CEOIS) task order. It has an expected value of $89 million for the first year, with a potential value of $618 million over the five-year term.

While the award may build on existing contracts that Parsons has performed, government data show no predecessor contract with a similar size and scope, indicating the new award likely adds incremental revenue for Parsons.

The project involves providing "near real-time situational awareness and decision support to the DOD combatant commands," according to government data.

Parsons beat one other bidder for the award, which was issued as a task order under the OASIS contract vehicle. Huntington Ingalls had posted recruiting notices about the contract and was a likely competitor.
