Palantir has received a six-month extension worth $13.5 million to continue licensing and services for the federal government's HHS Protect website that tracks COVID-19 data. The extension includes a $9.3 million contract for software licenses and a $4.2 million award for support services.

The awards continue a project begun in April 2020 under the Trump administration. The original agreement included a $17.3 million, 12-month deal for Palantir software licenses and a $7.5 million, one-year deal for services.
