The contract issued to Palantir on April 5, 2021 by the U.S. Coast Guard expands on a similar agreement from last year. The previous contract generated $8.15 million over 12 months. The new award includes $6.25 million for the first five months (through Sept. 5), with an option to extend services to January 5, 2022 for an additional $5 million.
