The $17 million, three-year contract issued to Dynatrace by Services Australia appears to renew services previously purchased under multiple smaller contracts. The new award was disclosed on April 6, 2021 and has a start date of March 31, 2021. It is the follow-on to a previous three-year deal valued at $8.8 million that expired March 30 (that award was issued by the Department of Human Services, which was renamed Services Australia in 2019). The department issued multiple smaller awards to Dynatrace over the course of the previous contract. The value of the new contract appears to consolidate these smaller awards to maintain a run rate that is in-line with the prior three-year period.
